Struggling to get down the basics in Dorico? Having trouble shifting over after using Finale or other programs for decades? Curious about what Dorico can do? This is the class for you!
Taught by Broadway copyist Jonathon Lynch, this course is for any composers who are brand new to Dorico or for those who have some experience with the program but are looking to expand their knowledge in a supportive community.
We'll walk through note entry, converting Finale files to Dorico, templates and spacing, helpful shortcuts, and much more. This course culminates in a final project in which you create clean sheet music based on a pre-existing work. You'll leave with a better understanding of the ins and outs of Dorico and have the confidence to dive into your own projects.
Class Requirements.Latest version of Dorico (version 6).A computer capable of running Dorico and Zoom.Previous knowledge of music composition.
